High School Internships

High school interns will learn about how Afya works with various international health systems as well as local community-based organizations and schools that volunteer at the Afya warehouse. The Afya foundation collects medical supplies and equipment from throughout the United States and ships these critical materials to health initiatives worldwide.

Student interns will work with local volunteers and alongside Afya staff sorting donated medical supplies and materials in our large warehouse.

Other activities that interns will assist with include collecting, sorting, packing, helping with on-site training of new volunteers, and help with spreading awareness about Afya’s work in their communities.

The high school internship runs throughout the year and is unpaid.
