Every day, perfectly usable medical supplies are discarded, while clinics and health systems both globally and here at home struggle with dangerous shortages. This gap between surplus and scarcity puts lives at risk and undermines health equity. Afya exists to bridge that divide. We improve health outcomes by rescuing surplus medical supplies and delivering them to under-resourced health systems, ensuring they reach the people and places that need them most.
