Since 2008, Afya has worked with many New York hospitals and Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) members. Now, with the goal of expanding to even more hospitals, networks, and systems, we are building a coalition of healthcare partners committed to both environmental sustainability and global health equity.
The goal is clear: to establish a model of excellence, making the NY Metro area the first region in the U.S. where the entire healthcare sector is united in saving lives—and the planet—by giving surplus a second life.
