In the wake of the terror attacks perpetrated by Hamas, Afya has mobilized to offer urgent and long-term support to people who are affected, working with our partners to aid those caring for the injured and suffering.
As an international NGO, Afya has responded efficiently and effectively to multiple disasters—natural and manmade worldwide over the years. We are working to address medical and humanitarian needs through partnerships with NGOs, hospitals treating the injured, and clinics tending to the thousands of displaced.

About The Afya Foundation Disaster Response Fund
For 16 years, The Afya Foundation has been a global force in humanitarian aid, addressing chronic health disparities and urgent crises caused by disasters. Known for our impactful programs, supply chain expertise, and strong partnerships, our ability to rescue resources and match surplus to need benefits the environment and delivers results.
Afya’s model centers on supporting local healthcare infrastructure during crises. Having established our ability to deliver to disaster zones globally and to improve our readiness to do so moving forward, we have launched the Disaster Response Fund. This fund allows swift action without the immediate need for fundraising during disasters—enabling us to respond effectively to crises that don’t make headlines but have lasting impacts.
Healthcare providers and relief workers around the world rely on Afya, knowing they can depend on us to arrive quickly and effectively whenever and wherever needed. But to continue to be an organization others can count on, we need your support. So please make a difference by donating today.
The Afya Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation (EIN: 26-1300361). The charitable deduction can be counted to the full extent of the law allowed.
